HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL GET:
The Senior
Fitness Instructor educational program is a two
part course of study.

Part One is
introductory in nature and includes the following:
- Quality of Life
Fitness training manual ... 158 page, 8.5x11, comb bound.
- SFA-approved
specialty exercise video ... 60 minute, DVD or VHS.
- Complete
instructions and continuing education package.
- $114.00 plus $10.00
S/H ($15.00 foreign )
Successful completion of
Part One requires achieving an 80 percent score on the open book,
multiple choice test included with your study materials. You will earn a
validation certificate accepted for 9 hours (0.9 CEUs) by most fitness
organizations.

more advanced in nature and includes the following:
- Senior Fitness

completion of Part Two requires achieving an 80 percent
score on the open book, multiple choice test included

certificate accepted for 16 hours (1.6 CEUs) by most
fitness organizations.

The Certificate of Completion
training package is a complete educational experience that will earn you a
respected fitness credential. The program includes the following:
- All
resources contained in Part 1 and Part 2.
- $249
Plus $15.00 S/H . ($25.00 foreign )
Successful
completion of the Senior Fitness Instructor, Certificate
of Completion program requires achieving an 80 percent
score on both of the open book, multiple choice tests
included with your study materials.
You will
earn two validation certificates that are accepted for a
total of 25 hours (2.5 CEUs) by most fitness
organizations.

You will
also earn a Certificate of Completion document from the
American Senior Fitness Association. Although a
Certificate of Completion is not equal to
an Advanced
Qualification, it is a respected credential that will
serve as an entry level qualification and as an
excellent compliment to an existing set of fitness
credentials.

training packages are designed to meet or exceed the
educational program requirements established by the
American Senior Fitness Association, the "Recommended
National Standards for Preparing Senior Fitness
Instructors" and the "International Curriculum
Guidelines for Preparing Physical Activity Instructors
of Older Adults." |

includes the following:

examination and related processing fees.

Professional membership in the American Senior
Fitness Association.

Successful
completion of the Senior Fitness Instructor, Advanced
Qualification program requires sitting for a closed
book, proctored examination. You are also required to
have current CPR and Basic 1st Aid certification.

You will
earn an internationally recognized certificate as an
American Senior Fitness Association qualified, Senior
Fitness Instructor.
Your SFA Certificate of Advanced Qualification valid for
two years and can be renewed by earning 20 hours (2.0
CEUs) of approved continuing education and maintaining
valid CPR and Basic 1st Aid certification. A $35.00
renewal fee applies.
NOTE: Advanced Qualification program participants can
also complete the Part One and Part Two open book tests
to earn up to 25 hours (2.5 CEUs) continuing education
credits accepted by most fitness organizations.
