The American Senior Fitness Association provides convenient certification options through our distance certification process or at one of our scheduled review/ testing workshops offered at numerous locations nationwide. Successful completion on either testing process will earn the participant an SFA professional senior fitness certification.

DISTANCE CERTIFICATION

SFA’s "distance certification" process enables you to earn a respected SFA professional certification with:

• No travel
• No extra expenses
• No hassle!

SFA’s convenient testing process is conducted at the location of your choice when it suits your schedule. Take your examination in your own hometown, and get your results fast.

Schedule two hours to complete the timed, closed-book examination, which employs a multiple choice format to present an intensive battery of 180 questions both on theoretical issues and on practical applications.

Simply arrange for your test to be proctored by a qualified local professional. SFA will approve public school teachers, college and university professors, librarians, and clergy as proctors.

Complete instructions come in your certification training package or you can call us today for details! At SFA, we’re making high quality certification more convenient and accessible than ever.

The SFA certification examination will also be given selected testing sites. Before the examination an informative educational seminar, including a helpful review session, will be conducted. All persons enrolled in SFA full certification programs are eligible and invited to attend. If you plan to attend one of SFA’s review/testing workshops, please notify SFA headquarters at least two weeks in advance. NOTE: Workshop dates are subject to change.
