The Nautilus Stair Lift by Jameson is a top-of-the-line stair lift perfect for larger people. With a max weight capacity of 350 lbs and dimensions of 19″ x 16″ x 18″, this chair has plenty of room to spare. The Helical worm gear system ensures a smooth ride up and down the stairs. The Nautilus also comes with a track length option of up to 70′, but the standard length is 15’6″. Another great feature of this stair lift is that it can incline up to 45 degrees and requires little to no maintenance. What we admired most is the fact that the Nautilus is equipped with safety sensors for obstruction clearance and an optional folding rail and key lock. With a top speed of 20 FPM, this is stair lift is quite fast and reliable.
Looking at the Nautilus Stair Lift by Jameson, the design is quite similar to the AmeriGlide Rave 2 Stair Lift mentioned above as our best value option. Both have identical weight capacities and are equally impressive. However, if you have a slimmer body and want something that takes up even less space than the Rave 2, this option should work well.
