The Vive Mobility knee walker scooter is perfect for elderly individuals who need a bit of assistance getting around. Its 8-inch polyurethane tires provide a smooth ride, and the frame is made from sturdy steel for durability. Finally, the handlebar height can be adjusted from 33.5” to 41.5”, so individuals of various heights can operate it efficiently without bending over uncomfortably while using it.
This model is very similar to the ELENKER Economy. They have the same dual rear brakes, height adjustment, and wheels size. Moreover, their overall weight differs just in 1 pound – 26 vs. 25 pounds. Besides the color, you can see some differences between them. While the ELENKER is made from iron, the ViveMobility’s frame material is steel. So, you can be sure both options are durable.
Why is it special?
- There are some things in this model we were impressed by. The Vive Mobility scooter’s contoured foam pads provide extra comfort while riding, and it is made to reduce fatigue in the hip, knee, and leg. Plus, this knee scooter is easily maneuvered so that you can make tight turns without any difficulty. Finally, the cloth bag on the scooter’s handlebar provides a handy place to store any personal items.
What are the flaws?
- We also noticed a few downsides about this model, however. Some users don’t like the pink color and would prefer a more masculine shade. Others complain that the front-right wheel is a little wobbly or that the pad cushion could be more comfortable. However, these drawbacks aren’t that common across Vive Mobility knee walker scooters, and most users find it to be a great product.
