Even though the Cuisinart SS-5P1 uses pods to brew coffee, you can actually make your own pods. You can take a reusable pod, fill it with your own favorite coffee grounds, and then place it in the coffee maker. This pod can then be used over and over again. Just note that you will have to purchase the reusable pod separately. You can also use Cuisinart pods or even K-pods, which gives more variety to the coffee you can brew.
The Cuisinart SS-5P1 allows you to choose between three cup sizes, so you can decide if you want a stronger cup of coffee or a weaker one. The machine weighs less than 7 pounds, so you can move it around your kitchen with ease. It is also nice and compact, so it won’t take up precious counter space. There are just four buttons to cycle through. Press the power button to turn it on, and then select from a 6, 8, or 10-ounce cup. There is also a small indicator that will tell you if you need to add more water. This machine will produce quality coffee but in a simple, straightforward manner. It will also automatically turn off after 30 minutes, so you never need to worry if you forget to turn it off.
