The Nitro 4-wheel rollator from Drive Medical is our Editor’s Choice as it looks like the best walking rollator for riding on rough surfaces, thanks to its very stable large wheels and the shape of its frame. This walker adapts to all terrains by virtue of its large four wheels, the front which measures 10 inches in diameter and the rear wheels measuring 8 inches in diameter. The height of the handles is adjustable by simple pressure.
The Drive Medical RTL10266 is part of the range of three similar Nitro models – the Standard, Tall, and Hemi. While the Standard is 33 inches tall, the Tall is 36 inches, and the shortest of them, the Hemi, is 28 inches tall. So, the Standard would be suitable for most people.
The rollator folds easily by lifting the central handle and stays upright when folded. The zipped transport bag located at the front does not interfere with the folding of the rollator. We liked that it has a very comfortable padded seat and backrest, a sidewalk lift, and a practical cane holder.
