The Vive All-Terrain Knee Walker is our best all-terrain choice because it combines four large 12-inch pneumatic wheels with a relatively manageable 25-pound frame. Vive rates it for users up to 350 pounds, giving it the same higher-capacity range as the premium KneeRover while maintaining a more conventional four-wheel layout.

What do we love it for?
The four 12-inch pneumatic tires provide a good balance between outdoor capability and stability. They should roll more comfortably over grass, uneven pavement and gravel than the 8-inch wheels fitted to most standard knee scooters.
The 350-pound capacity is another advantage. It gives larger users more choice without forcing them into a much heavier specialty model.
What could be better?
