The Pride Mobility Go-Go LX CTS Suspension 4-Wheel Scooter is another top-class purchase. Like a few other scooters listed, it can handle anything less than 300 pounds. This is including the weight of the user and that of the luggage they place in the basket.
Being a four-wheeler, it comes as a surprise that the turning radius is so little. However, the scooter’s users are bound to appreciate that. Tires at the front of the mobility scooter for house and outdoor use are 2” x 7” while back tires are 2.5” x 8”.
The mentioned tires also have an anti-tip feature to keep riders stable. Thanks to this, the clearance is only about 0.75” at the lowest part of the machine. As you would expect, this doesn’t bode well for off-road use, and thus smooth pavements and tarmacked roads would be ideal.
Understandably some of you may pick the Pride Mobility Go-Go for the comfort it promises. The CTS suspension on both front and back tires is partly to thank for this. The adjustable seat and armrests are another reason.
If you liked changeable color options in the Drive medical devices, the same is also available in this model. Feather-touch disassembly has been added to this model as well.
Why are we impressed? The feather-touch disassembly will be appreciated by users who try to take apart the machine for storage and transport purposes. CTS suspension alongside an adjustable seat bode well for the comfort of the users. Anti-tip tires are part of the package alongside interchangeable colored shrouds. The turning radius is remarkable for a four-wheeler.
What negatives must you be aware of? Ground clearance is wanting and may lead to some problems in less than ideal terrains.
