The Pride Mobility Go-Go Ultra X SC44X 4-Wheel Electric Travel Scooter is like the little brother to the Pride Mobility Go-Go LX CTS Suspension 4-Wheel Scooter. It features less weight capacity by about 40 lbs. This isn’t problematic for lighter individuals.
Top speed has also been cut back from 4.4 mph to 4 mph. While this is a bit slower, not everyone will mind. Additionally, there is the cut back regarding the drive range, and again the difference is not that much between the two models.
Turning radius is one area the scooter gets excellent ratings. Do not forget that anti-tip wheels are part of the machine’s build. However, they do lead to very little ground clearance of 0.67”. This clearance is still workable, depending on the roads and pavements around your home.
Like other Pride Mobility options, you can take this scooter apart into five pieces without much struggle.
Why are we impressed? Similar to other Pride Mobility devices, it’s relatively easy to take apart this scooter. A 44” turning radius is also better than you’ll get with most other scooters.
What negatives must you be aware of? Ground clearance could be more to allow for freedom of terrains. The top speed and drive range are not impressive, either.
